After months of advocating for new legislation that ICWA members wanted, two bills were finally dropped in Olympia on February 27, 2025.
The first is SB 5781 titled Restoring Trust in Public Health by Conforming to FDA Labeling, very similar to the companion bills that were filed in 2023. This version has been simplified and focuses on just holding the government to FDA labeling laws and promotional message limits when promoting drugs (vaccines), medical devices and including masks.
The second is SB 5783: Prohibiting use of vaccination status in certain administrative and legal proceedings. Speaking to the intent of the bill, we wanted to call it Prohibiting the Weaponization of Vaccine Status in Family Courts, but the language as filed stays in line with the 2023 Montana HB 684 which has already been passed into law. Notably, the bill would cause courts and administrative decisions to ignore vaccine status in child support, child custody, visitation, or parental 5 rights. Please email contact@informedchoicewa.org if you have been harmed by a family court order, adoption decision, or other parenting plan discrimination based on your or your children’s vaccination status. Bill sponsors have asked that we gather individuals to testify
It is expected that the House will also file a companion bill to Restore Trust in Public Health, as they did in the last session.
ICWA members should be patient as these bills were dropped after the committee hearing deadline. Therefore, we have until next year to push for a committee hearing.
In November 2024, ICWA members voted for their favorite bill ideas from the top five which were whittled down from over a dozen ideas.

The other bill ideas were presented to select legislators and received some interest. The WHO bill is on hold since the Trump administration is effectively keeping globalist organizations at arm’s reach from the U.S. altogether.
All the above bills will get more interest and sponsors when you call, email or visit your legislators.
